We have a fleet of the forever famous red London Transport Double Decker bus.
Our former London buses are Routemasters, which ran the streets of the city and suburban areas since the 1950`s. Their charm and character are still well-remembered around the world.

We are a friendly family business with over 12 years of experience working in the public transport industry. First starting off as bus enthusiasts and working at local bus garages, we fell in love with these iconic red buses and decided to purchase one! The addiction grew and another Routemaster bus was bought. Meanwhile our director progressed to a supervisor at a London Bus garage, then to Transport Manager for a business company. Finally In 2008 Traditional Travel was founded and now we are pleased to share our ‘On the Buses’ experiences with our customers.

Routemaster buses are our pride and joy and are beautifully restored and well maintained to the highest standard.

Our staff are professional, fully uniformed, polite and helpful. Our drivers are currently obtaining the new CPC qualification, which is required by law from 2012, also the NVQ level 2 Diploma in Passenger Carrying Vehicle Driving.

The conductor or conductress carries an original Gibson ticket machine used in the 1950’s -1990’s. A souvenir ticket can be printed at extra cost, (Please state on the booking form) to commemorate your special day.
